The Opportunity:
CACI is currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician. This position is located at our Fairfax, VA, facility. There may be occasional travel our location in Germantown, MD.
The successful applicant will become part of a world-class team and work collaboratively with an outstanding group of geographically dispersed employees to support the development and production of advanced electronic systems for the DoD and other customers.
Responsibilities:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for assisting the Facility Manager in all aspects of facilities management for Fairfax, VA, facilities, and Germantown facility. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, changing priorities, and a team environment.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

Responsibilities:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for assisting the Facility Manager in all aspects of facilities management for Fairfax, VA, facilities, and Germantown facility. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, changing priorities, and a team environment.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist Facilities Manager in the day-to-day operation of the Fairfax, VA and Germantown, MD facilities and respond to emergencies
- Maintain facility appearance standards
- Complete basic facility tasks at multiple facilities, including:
- Light electrical - changing light ballasts
- Light plumbing - toilet and faucet repairs
- Light door work - adjusting door closers, adjusting hinges, changing door handles
- Drywall/painting
- Grounds inspections and repairs
- Daily HVAC equipment and BMS checks
- Scheduled runs between Azure's multiple facilities assisting the warehouse in moving equipment and material
- Escort service providers and other visitors as needed
- Communicate with building representatives as needed
- Activities to include hands-on supervision of multiple vendors (i.e., plumbers, electricians, etc.)
- Assist Facility manager with calibration of equipment and calibration log sheet
- Complete daily walk throughs in facilities identifying, correcting, or reporting any issues that may cause a safety hazard
- Assist Facilities Manager with, personnel, outside agencies, and programs to ensure successful execution of on-site activities, meetings, events, and operations
- Oversee facilities while facility manager is off site, or out of the office
- Ensure compliance with approved standards and policies relating to office space and furnishings
Qualifications:
Required:
- Ability to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance, due to the nature of the work and contract requirement
- 5+ years of experience
- 2+ years of facilities maintenance experience
- Experience with light electrical - changing light ballasts
- Experience with light plumbing - toilet and faucet repairs
- High school diploma
- Ability to support off hours emergences
Desired:
- Facilities Management Professional (FMP) Certification
- 5 years or more facilities management experience working within a cleared government contractor facility
- Availability to work off-hours emergencies and holidays
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
