SSI has an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to join an exceptional team in Laurel, MD. Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph and work onsite each day.

Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience in a Systems Engineering or Systems Architecture role.
- Manage Linux hosts such as RHEL or CENTOS in an enterprise environment.
- Familiar with Puppet, Splunk, Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins.
- Deploy worldwide enterprise solutions.
- Install, configure and manage Linux operating systems.
- Work with AWS-based solutions.
- Configure and troubleshoot network components.
- Implement operating systems enhancements.
- Test prototype enterprise scale solutions.
- Knowledge of writing scripts in Bash, Python, and executing shell scripts
- Deploy applications
- Develop and support Java/Javascript, C/C++, MySQL, and SQL Server applications.
- Experience with using Nessus and Agile methodologies
- Perform detailed analysis.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
- BA/BS in Information Technology or related field
- 10+ years of related experience
- Must work onsite
