The Red Gate Group is seeking a skilled Computer Engineer III to support DARPA's Adaptive Capabilities Office (ACO). The ACO collaborates closely with military services to tackle critical national security challenges by developing architectural solutions that integrate emerging technologies with innovative warfighting constructs. These solutions are validated through a combination of modeling, simulation, and extensive experimentation to establish new doctrines, operational concepts, and joint capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop advanced computing solutions to support ACO initiatives.
Engage in comprehensive research to address complex national security challenges.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate emerging technologies into warfighting constructs.
Validate architectural solutions through rigorous modeling, simulation, and experimentation.
Provide technical leadership and innovation in support of DoD programs.
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI
BS or MS in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science
7 yrs + MS or 11 yrs + BS in computer design, software development or computer networks
At least seven (7) years, supporting research and development (R&D) DoD programs.
Demonstrated skill in conceiving, planning and conducting research in problem areas of considerable scope and complexity requiring unconventional or novel approaches and sophisticated research techniques.
Demonstrated ability of make decisions independently on research and development (R&D) engineering problems and methods, and of resolve important questions and of plan and coordinate work.
Demonstrated experience in the use of advanced techniques, theories, precepts, and practices for each lead of the four functional areas (Intelligence and Mission Capabilities, Architecture, Applications, and Mission Integration)
At least three (3) years of experience working in DARPA or similar organization is highly desirable
