Tetra Tech needs an Electrical with a Telecom and TSS background in New Delhi, India (live position, not proposal) for construction of 28 Acre $575M New U.S. Embassy Compound (NEC) with State Dept. Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO). Requires a US Govt. Secret Security Clearance.
The Project
--- 28 Acre $575M New US Embassy Compound (NEC) multi-building complex including:
-------- New Office Building (NOB) and Support Annexes (SPXs)
-------- New Marine Security Guard Residence (MSGR) and Staff Housing
-------- Warehouses and Perimeter Walls
-------- Demolition of existing facilities
-------- Installation of new Utility Infrastructure System
and more!
--- Minimum commitment 1 year, expected to last 3-5 years.
--- Housing and transportation allowances provided.
--- Uplift includes 25% of base salary.
--- Benefits (medical, dental, vision, 30 days paid time off a year, paid round trip flights home)
Position Description
--- Provide NEC project with full range of critical engineering and construction management oversight.
--- Perform technical inspections of electrical work, monitor construction contractor's quality control program, and review project drawings to ensure compliance.
--- Observe onsite construction and determine if construction elements are being installed, formed, and executed properly.
--- Monitor construction progress with regard to project schedule and submit weekly progress reports with recommendations based on technical review of project documents and field inspections.
Requirements
--- US Govt. Secret Clearance or higher
--- High school diploma
--- 7-10 years construction experience
