Performance Systems is seeking a CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support USSOCOM at Ft. Liberty. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience providing expert analysis and recommendations on CBRNE threat, risks, and mitigation strategies as well as experience in the acquisition and integration of CBRNE detection, protection, and response equipment.
Responsibilities:
§ Develop and implement CBRNE-related policies, procedures, and best practices
§ Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to advise on threat response and readiness
§ Lead or assist in CBRNE-related exercises, training programs, and scenario planning to ensure operational readiness
§ Coordinate with intelligence, medical, and logistics teams to provide comprehensive CBRNE support
§ Provide technical guidance on the employment of CBRNE protective gear, detection equipment, and decontamination methods
§ Stay updated on evolving CBRNE threats, technologies, and mitigation tactics
§ Draft technical reports, briefings, and presentations for senior leadership
Qualifications:
§ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
§ Minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant experience; military experience preferred
§ Extensive knowledge and experience with CBRNE threats, countermeasures, and military applications
§ Experience supporting special operations or defense-related CBRNE missions
§ Expertise in CBRNE detection, decontamination, medical countermeasures, and response protocols
§ Ability to develop, implement, and support CBRNE training and exercise plans
§ Understanding of USSOCOM missions, organizational structure, and operational requirements
