This endeavor will require an AV/VTC Technician that possess the capability to support, VTC facilitation and AV/VTC configuration troubleshooting. The successful candidate must have the ability to support multiple extensive hardware, cabling and software AV/VTC configuration suites. These suites are located at multiple facilities located at NIWC, Atlantic Charleston, SC. A DoD Secret Security Clearance is required. The work will be performed on site at the NIWC, Atlantic Joint Base Charleston, SC.
The Technician shall perform failure analysis, and configuration management functions with regards to: AMX and connected AV equipment; Network infrastructure; Cyber Security; Information Assurance (IA); Resource Management Suite (RMS); and CISCO product line. The job candidate shall also have the ability to assist in the resolution of AMX system technology issues and make technical and procedural recommendations.

The AV/VTC Technician’s role will require the ability to perform the following functions.
• Technical support, configuration, test, and checkout of the equipment and systems as it pertains to AV, AMX, CISCO
• Pre-meeting test and verification, assuring that all components within a VTC’s equipment suite are functioning properly.
• Following the Standard Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG), formulating STIG Check Lists, Validating implemented configurations against the applicable STIG Check List
• Be familiar with all Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Bulletins (IAVB) for all VTC systems, bridges, gatekeepers, gateways, servers and workstations
• Maintaining operating systems and basic device configurations
• Developing, applying, and documenting device configurations
• Complete system tests in accordance with established test plan to ensure total operation and functional compatibly with interfacing/interacting systems, subsystems, equipment and computer programs
• Troubleshoot and advise corrective action for maintenance and operational issues
• Provide User training and indoctrination to Government Customers.

Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in a VTC and Audio Visual technical capacity. AMX and/or CISCO Certifications.
Currently possess a Secret Security Clearance.

Education & Experience:
Requires a minimum of 6 years relevant technical experience or a bachelor's degree in any of the following studies: Engineering, Physical Sciences, Management Information Technology/Systems, Mathematics, Business Administration, Business Management, Business Technology, Project Management, Economics, or Operations Management.
