The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the capture process for new business opportunities, focusing on federal and commercial contracts. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across various departments to develop winning proposals and strategies.
Responsibilities Include:
• Opportunity Identification: Research and identify potential business opportunities in alignment with the company's strategic goals.
• Capture Strategy Development: Develop and implement capture strategies for target opportunities, including competitor analysis, customer needs assessment, and win strategies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with proposal teams, business development, marketing, and technical staff to gather relevant information and ensure alignment on capture efforts.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Proposal Oversight: Lead the proposal development process, ensuring that all aspects of the proposal are aligned with the capture strategy and customer requirements.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with capture efforts, ensuring that all potential challenges are addressed proactively.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of capture efforts, using data to refine strategies and improve future performance.
Required Skills:
• Proven experience in capture management, business development, or related roles, preferably in [specific industry].
• Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes and proposal development.
