Position Title: Software Engineer Level 3
Required Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Description:
Infrastructure Developer/Kubernetes Administrator:
Design, development & maintenance for Kubernetes Platform Infrastructure; Produce & maintain functional Kubernetes infrastructure as code according to consumer needs based on ticket requirements which may include: Security policy & network solutions, Monitoring & logging, Storage solutions, CI/CD pipelines, Service mesh solutions, Backup & restore solutions
Enables cloud security best practices in accordance with SSP(s) & ISSO(s), Assist with providing Level of Effort forecasting with the DevOps Lead & PM/SDM, Research & study trends with DevOps tools from industry & Agency, etc.
Required technologies & skills: Kubernetes (K8s) App Development, Containerization, Linux/RHEL administration including storage & interface mgmt, hardening & patching, Ansible (or similar automation technologies, Virtualization/VMWare (AWS, AZURE, or similar), Cloud providers, Microservices, Bash scripting, Familiar with Gitlab, Helm charts, Jira
Desired technologies & skillsets: CKA certification or similar, GitOps, CI-CD, Unit testing, Python, Ingress/Egress, Networking, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Education & Related Experience:
Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Salary Range: $210k - $240k annually
Salary ranges are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to:
Knowledge, skills, & abilities Years of experience
Education/Certifications Program placement
Duties & responsibilities Internal equity
More detailed information will be provided once those factors are known and addressed.
OVERTIME STATEMENT:
40 hours is the standard workweek. Some programs may allow additional hours to be worked as needed. A limited number of programs have on-call requirements where compensation is provided for being engaged to wait. In all circumstances, technical employees will be paid for all time worked.
BONUS STATEMENT:
All billable employees are eligible to earn quarterly bonuses that are based on the number of hours worked for that period. This hourly requirement is roughly 92% of hours available to bill in a given quarter. Quarterly Hours Bonuses are paid out on the same payroll as the time worked in that prior quarter (typically 21 days after the quarter ends.)
