Roles and Responsibilities
- The Senior Technical Trainer shall be the Team Lead’s principal trainer conducting various peacekeeping-related contract training requirements.
- The Senior Technical Trainer shall have a minimum of 10 years of technical experience which includes a relevant blend of military skills, experience, knowledge, and current certifications that will enable the individual to successfully train specific task performance objectives
- Minimum of ten (10) years of U.S. or NATO military experience in a combat arms specialty [combat arms is defined as infantry, armor, cavalry, engineer, field artillery, or special operations forces].
- Attainment of military grade or E-7 and higher.
- Experience deployed to an overseas contingency operation since September 11, 2001.
- Relevant military operations or foreign security force (police or military) capacity building experience in the last 5 years.
- Experience as a senior trainer, military or civilian, to a foreign security partner with directly related experience in capacity building and unit level assessments.
- Experience as an instructor in a tactics training unit e.g., U.S. Army Ranger School or USMC Advanced Infantry Training Battalion) developing individual and collective skills intended to develop technical and tactical proficiency (preferred).
- Regional experience in Sub-Saharan Africa (preferred).
