Solidus is searching for a Principal Java Software Engineer.You will be joining a team thatsolves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. This position is located in Aurora, CO. Candidates must be able to work on-site.
What you will bring to the role:
Required:
-US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI Clearance
- Bachelor's Degreeand 8+years of relevant experience.
- Software Development in Java
- Experience with Agile and/or DevSecOps toolsets (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, Cucumber, etc.)
-Experience with AWS Cloud Technologies
Preferred:
- Some area of satellite ground system software, such as missionmanagement, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models preferred
- Developing software using C++ and Python
- Microservices in an AWS environment using Docker and Kubernetes
- Test Automation, DevSecOps, and CI/CD processes
-Working with large-scale legacy software system.
- Experience with toolssuch as Eclipse, Junit, Kafka, and Spring Boot

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $115,000 - $190,000. Customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies and certifications, clearance status, and benefit selections will influence the final salary.
