JOB TITLE: Senior HBSS Administrator - Top Secret Required
GOVERNMENT AGENCY : DOJ NSD - National Security Division
POSITION INFORMATION : Full-Time Position; Government contractor supporting DOJ NSD
LOCATION: Employee must work onsite at one of the following two approved DOJ work locations - Washington, DC OR Bluemont, VA (Mount Weather)
POSITION TIMING: Position requires candidate to obtain SCI prior to starting; can take 2-4+ weeks to process

The mission of the National Security Division (NSD) is to carry out the Department's highest priority: to combat terrorism and other threats to national security. The Infrastructure Support and Software Development Services division provides all IT services necessary to support the NSD's Infrastructure & Operations as well as Software Development, Engineering, and Service Desk.

Responsibilities
- Provides support to plan, coordinate, and implement the organization's information security.
- Provides support for facilitating and identifying current security infrastructure and define future programs, administration and implementation of firewall and other related security issues on systems.
- Supporting HBSS TA/ENS/DLP/FRMP/Drive Encryption/MSME/RSD
- Daily checks, maintenance, and operations.
- Patching, upgrades, documentation.
- Support Tenable Nessus O&M and engineering, upgrades and builds.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT Security experience with recent expertise with HBSS tools
- A working knowledge of several of the following areas is required:
- Understanding of business security practices and procedures
- Knowledge of current security tools available
- Hardware/software firewalls and their implementation
- Different communication protocols
- Encryption techniques/tools
- Familiarity with commercial products, and current Internet/EC technology
PREFERRED:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; can be substituted with an additional 2+ years related experience.
- Security Certifications, plus
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Top Secret, required.
