Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Part-time internship for entry level Application Developer Intern to join our team for this opportunity in Clarksburg WV.

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Part-time internship for entry level Application Developer Intern to join our team for this opportunity in Clarksburg WV.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Under direction using programming languages to build software and Applications,
- Under direction responsible for learning and writing code, testing it and troubleshooting existing code.
- Working with a team to develop internet and intranet applications as needed.
- Working with direction to analyze user requirements and inform application design.
- With direction get an understanding of aligning application design with business goals.
Basic Qualifications:
- Completed at least three semesters of IT related course work (for ex ample CS, EE, MIS, etc.) from an accredited college.
- Experience with basic code writing or course work related exposure.
- Basic understanding of java based software and applications.
- Basic understanding of testing concepts.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Prefer operational experience in supporting applications such as Linux
- Preference for individuals that have:
- Skills/knowledge of software development, cloud development, database, etc.
- Each position would be up to 850 hours per contractual year.
- Ideally, the work would be during core business hours, but may be coordinated via the customer to ensure that there are the appropriate staff here to work with the individuals and allow schedule flexibility
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen and may go through a government background check.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
