Must Haves:
  • Ability, to work, with small fragile parts and follow work instructions consistently and make operation entries on computer terminals. Keeping work area orderly and clean.
  • Notify Production Supervisor, if a defect is identified, to obtain guidance and assistance, in resolving the problem. Adherence to policies and procedures including EH&S, ESD, FOD, Quality, OSHA, MSDS and housekeeping.
  • Basic computer proficiency, with working knowledge, of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) preferred. Comfortable speaking in group/team settings; attention to detail.
  • Able to use basic hand tools and fixturing, use PPE appropriately, to the use, of chemicals and protection from other hazards is required.
  • Ability, to follow written and verbal instructions, be able and willing, to work, in and promote a team environment. U.S. Citizen required.
  • High School Diploma with 6 years of maintenance experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Nice to Haves:
  • The ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings.
  • Prior experience working under a microscope and hands on Mechanical Assembly experience.


Job Description:
Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Assists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. May work with complex machines or computer systems. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
