Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Statistical Signal Processing, Detection & Estimation Theory.

Job Description:

As a Senior Systems Engineer-DSP for SIS Core Engineering, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing and modeling algorithms, verifying their implementations, and analyzing their performance on a range of systems. The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services.

The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to create and manage various GDMS and client technologies. This position is Hybrid/Flex where you will be on site at least 3 days a week. While on-site, you will be a part of the SIS DSP Core Engineering Team at Scottsdale AZ ( https://gdmissionsystems.com/about-us/major-locations/scottsdale )

Senior DSP Systems Engineers analyze, design, develop and test DSP algorithms that are implemented in hardware and software for Space-based systems. Your duties would include:
  • Algorithm development
  • Performance verification and validation
  • Fixed point model conversion for hardware implementation
  • Hands-on system performance verification and validation in the lab
