Come join our team! Mobius is a fast growing and award-winning systems engineering company looking for a Senior Analyst for our Weapons and Missile Systems contract. This position is in the Missile Defense Agency Sea-Based Weapons Systems / Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense, Sea-Based Weapon Systems Program Office (MDA/ABS).
The incumbent will directly support the ABS Weapon System BMD Baseline Product Manager and the Systems Engineering team in monitoring shipboard baseline issues and provide recommendations for resolutions.
The successful candidate will have experience with On Site Installation Coordinators (OSICs), Alteration Installation Teams (AITs) at the waterfront for Aegis BMD installation and upgrades of sites and ships. Also, possess proficiency in working on large cross-functional teams, interacting with leadership/technical managers, and ability to interact and effectively coordinate with sponsors and contractor organizations.
This full-time salaried position serves onsite with the client in Dahlgren, VA and could require some travel within the continental United States.
Duties of a Senior Systems Analyst may include:
-Monitor Aegis BMD Baselines and Combat Systems integration technical issues in the Fleet and shore sites including software, system upgrades and testing
-Lead teams in the evaluation of program successes and deficiencies, and implement appropriate recommendations
-Responsible for assessing the degree to which the identified systems operations and technical requirements are being met and where improvements for modernization may be applied for the next -generation of missile defense systems
-Provide technical coordination for alignment between the Navy, MDA and other government agencies regarding integration of BMD and Combat System upgrades to ensure all remain informed of any new decisions that affect scope and schedule
-Support Warfighter coordination and integration and provide detailed technical and programmatic responses to MDA Executive Taskers, Congressional Requests for Information (RFI), and Navy Correspondence
Qualifications:
-Proficiency in written and verbal skills as well as MS Office and demonstrated ability to deliver products on schedule
-Capability to develop and present program briefings to senior management-level personnel
-Prior experience with Aegis Weapons Systems; Experience with Weapon System Development; Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis
Qualifications, etc., all a plus
Education:
-MS/MA Degree preferable in STEM related technical field or BS/BA with 12+ years of related experience
