Job Summary

B&A is looking for a PeopleSoft Consultant to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PeopleSoft Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert-level support and consultation for PeopleSoft applications, ensuring optimal performance, and facilitating seamless integration with other systems. The PeopleSoft Consultant will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that enhance our organization's efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support PeopleSoft implementation projects, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Configure and customize PeopleSoft modules to meet business requirements.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PeopleSoft applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between PeopleSoft and other enterprise systems.
  • Manage data migrations, data mapping, and data integrity within PeopleSoft.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the functionality and performance of PeopleSoft applications.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams on PeopleSoft functionalities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance system performance and user experience.

Education and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience working with PeopleSoft applications, including implementation, upgrades, and support.

Required Skills
  • Proficiency in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and how they relate to PeopleSoft modules.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • PeopleSoft certification is a plus.

Desired Skills
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Financials, HRMS, or Supply Chain modules.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and integration with PeopleSoft.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Understanding of PeopleSoft security architecture and user administration.
