Responsibilities

  • Liaise with Joint Staff, Headquarters Air Force, ACC/A1, ACC/A4, ACC/A5, ACC/A6, and ACC/A8 to support the determination a long-term strategy that meets operational objectives.
  • Attend, coordinate and host weekly teleconferences/VTCs. Additional teleconferences/VTCs may be required to address current issues or potential risks.
  • Document POAM type documentation to chart and update long-term objectives.
  • Write and develop future RPA systems requirements through operational inputs to the JCIDs process.
  • Provide scheduling recommendations for operational units that include time for training and equipment software upgrades.
  • Assist in preparing and coordinating detailed system acquisition documents, e.g., Operational Requirements Documents (ORD), Statements of Objectives, and Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs).
  • Provide support for the development and staffing of Staff packages, CONOPS, CONEMP, Enabling Concepts, Roadmaps and Contingency Plans; assist government with MWS Lead Command duties.
  • Build and manage future operational UTCs and coordinates on maintenance UTCs.
  • Provide technical and functional expertise to manage weapon system logistics activities and functions, including contracting, equipment management, acquisition, budgeting, coordinating, planning, and programming.
  • Coordinate with Wing and DoD Staff agencies to organize, train, and equip future platform enterprise units and personnel IAW CSAF/SECAF direction.

Qualifications

  • Must possess an Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Must possess bachelor's degree
  • 2 years of NAF or higher staff experience managing complex operational aviation programs
  • 2 years of experience managing Fighter, Adversary Air or RPA related operations programs
  • 6 years of operational mission experience in DoD aircraft performing duties as rated aircrew (Enlisted or Officer)
