- Serve as a Joint Force Air Component Commander (JFACC) exercise planner
- Provide exercise subject matter expertise to support the planning and execution of exercises to facilitate the requisite integration with the global DoD exercise community.
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and support for conferences and milestone events related to joint exercises or wargames, such as Concept Development Conference (CDC), Initial Planning Conference (IPC), Mid-Planning Conference (MPC), Final Planning Conference (FPC), and Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) Synchronization Conference (SYNCH).
- Chair planning work groups as determined by the joint exercise or wargame lead planner and Branch Chief.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with Joint doctrine and planning processes, including end-to-end operations and processes from National-level decision making through Unit-level execution.
- Must be able to speak authoritatively on all aspects of weapons systems operations to include mission planning, generation procedures, deployment procedures, weapons system employment tactics and publishing daily operations orders.
- Prior experience at the USSTRATCOM Joint Force Air Component Command (JFACC) is highly desirable.
- Top Secret/ SCI security clearance.
Other Requirements:
- Background check and drug screen, required
- Must be able to read and write effectively in English
- Physical requirements include prolonged sitting and standing work does require moderate amounts of walking, may carry heavy items.
- Must be eligible for a Common Access Card (CAC)
