Procurement Clerk - Journeyman (Secret to TS) (3313)

SMX is seeking a skilled Procurement Clerk to be part of our Information Technology Team supporting NAWCAD at Patuxent River, MD. The Procurement Clerk tasking includes performance of market research and creation of documentation to create purchase orders for our customer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform market research, compile information and records
• Complete required documentation for the creation of purchase orders for the procurement of materials and services
• Communicate with point of contacts for relaying information such as receipt of goods, pricing, shipping information and delays
• Create reports as requested

Required Skills:

• Clearance Required: Non-NISP, Non-NISP to start. The applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
• Must be able to interact with peers, management, and senior engineers in a constantly evolving environment to ensure a positive customer experience and atmosphere in the workplace
• Associate degree in a relevant discipline
• 3+ years of related IT experience required

• Past DoD experience
• Bachelor's degree
