IT Architect

Alltech International is in search of someone to provide architecture direction and support for the modernization of the IRS MeF System, including collaboration with the MeF team and IRS stakeholders to provide direction for moving MeF to containers, the Cloud and other target environments. Drive development of architecture artifacts and maintain documentation in accordance with IRS document templates. Make recommendations for increasing MeF DevSecOps maturity.

• Develop and extend the MeF architecture. This includes developing architecture artifacts and presenting them to the MeF team and IRS stakeholders.
• Provide recommendations/architectural options and solutions for migrating MeF to microservices, containers and the Cloud.
• Maintain and/or create contractual deliverables in accordance with IRS templates.
• Identify opportunities for new business with the IRS
• Provide LoE estimates for Impact Assessments and VROMs
• Provide recommendations for implementing DevSecOps practices on MeF


Mandatory Technical Skills:

• 10 + Years Experience modernizing complex enterprise applications, including Java applications, for the
Cloud.
• 10 + Years Experience in leading teams of architects and/or developers
• 10 + Years Experience modernizing complex enterprise applications, leveraging microservices running in
containers
