Atlas Tech, a veteran-owned IT company serving multiple DoD customers in support of America's warfighters, is looking for an Acoustic Analyst in Lexington Park, MD. The Acoustic Analyst will support the PMW 750 Tactical Mobile (TacMobile) Post Mission Analysis (PMA) Team Lead. The purpose of the PMA team is to perform programmatic, engineering, and technical activities associated with providing operationally effective post mission related systems to the Navy’s Tactical Operations Center (TOC) and Mobile Tactical Operations Center (MTOC) units.
Pay Band - $70,000 - $90,000 varies with experience.
Travel approximately 10-20%
You Will:
Provides TacMobile Acoustic Support System (TacMASS) support as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Supports TacMASS system build, integration and developmental testing efforts
Interfaces with external MPRA customers to solve technical challenges
Interfaces with internal TacMobile customers to solve technical challenges
Participates in various reviews and meetings as required
Identifies potential risks to cost, schedule and performance to the PMA Lead
Provides meeting support to ensure TacMobile understands future systems requirements involving other programs (CPRG, PMA264, PMA290, PMA281, etc.)
Supports PMA subsystem developmental and subsystem level testing of new products prior to entry into the planned System Integration Testing (SIT) events
Supports PMA subsystem documentation updates to include Operations and Maintenance Manuals (OMM), drawing packages, System Operational and Verification Tests (SOVTs), Field Change Bulletins (FCBs), Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Defects, Pre-Installation Test and Check Out (PITCO) and other documents as required
Supports technical hardware/software assessments and evaluation support for subsystem upgrades, technical refreshes, and change requests due to end of life/obsolescence
Supports PMA subsystem development, test and troubleshooting of system repairs in order to meet scheduled events
Supports maintaining PMA subsystem Information Assurance (IA) compliant software products
Supports development testing for planned P8A fleet releases/new capabilities in order to meet planned IOC
Supports in Service Engineering of the current PMA related subsystems
Supports Subsystem Installation/Testing/Training efforts
Supports subsystem Impact Analysis, Cost Estimates, Defects, Engineering Change Request, Test reports, Technical Reports, Analysis of Alternatives and Recommended COAs
Supports technical efforts to ensure In Service Engineering Activities (ISEA) for the current PMA related subsystems
Supports delivering and managing Fleet Introduction Training (FIT)
Supports updating the rational database of related PMA subsystems defects and change requests
You Have:
US Citizenship
Must possess or have the ability obtain or maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
May need to obtain a Top Secret clearance in the future
At least 5 years of experience with acoustic analysis systems to include; P-8A or P-3C Acoustic sensor systems, Tactical Mobile Acoustic Support System (TacMASS)
At least 5 years of experience as a Naval Aircrewman Operator (Acoustic) conducting systems operations and sensor data analysis
Must have good communication skills (oral and written)
Proven ability to support analyst roles for post mission processing of aircraft sensor data to include; Acoustic, and Multi-Static Active
Ability and knowledge to conduct MPRA Mission reconstructions to support system performance evaluations and software development evaluation efforts
Must be detailed oriented
Must be able to follow written procedures and provide timely feedback to the team Lead in order to meet program schedules
Technical systems knowledge of the AN/TSQ-257 Tactical Mobile Acoustic Support System
Experience in conducting MPRA mission reconstructions
Knowledge on TacMobile related documentation to include; Installation Requirement Drawings (IRD) packages, Operations and Maintenance Manuals and user’s manuals
Experience training system operations and tactical utilization
Knowledge of Information Technology systems and network configurations
