Overview

We are seeking applicants with two to five years of quantitative experience with an emphasis in Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition earned value management, root cause analysis, and/or cost estimating analysis; familiarity with EVM policy; strong analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic, ability to work autonomously or in a team environment, with excellent communication, quantitative, research and analytical skills to provide earned value management analysis DOD acquisition programs.

Responsibilities

  • Individual will provide comprehensive assessments of DOD acquisition program's Earned Value management data to effectively communicate programs' cost and schedule health.
  • Work will include analysis and operation of DoD's Earned Value Management Central Repository, specifically data validation/quality control, support to EVM policy initiatives, and user support.
  • Daily tasks will include data and documentation collection, data/submission validation and program status reviews.
  • Individual should have the ability to identify business process improvements and technologies that could be incorporated to add new functionality, reduce complexity or reduce costs.
  • Individual will work closely with government staff, program office teams, support contractors and weapon system contractors to ensure the highest quality of data.




Skills Required

  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Project and Power Point) and experience in EVM analysis of weapon systems and/or information systems is required.
  • Working knowledge of the EVM-CR (Earned Value Management-Central Repository) and one or more of the following software tools is a plus: EVM-CR, Acumen Fuse, Encore Empower, SNA Proteus, COBRA, MS Project, Primavera, and/or other related tools.
  • Candidates must also possess analytical and problem-solving skills with knowledge of EVM to include policies, processes, concepts, analysis, techniques, and data exchange formats (including IPMR XML and IPMDAR JSON schemas).
  • Experience working in a government program office, understanding of the defense acquisition process, and preparing/presenting applicable program documentation and briefings are a plus.
  • Familiarity with EVMS systems and compliance assessments, MIL-STD-881, project management, and DAVE (Defense Acquisition Visibility Environment) is preferred.
  • Applicants must have a security clearance (Secret level or higher).
  • Salary range: $60,000-$80,000/year, depending on experience and qualifications






Education

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
