Description

Command Post Technologies (CPT) is seeking a Systems Engineer that will support the E20 (Advanced Hypersonic Weapons and Guided Munitions) Division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership to system integration efforts in the areas of Electromagnetic Railgun, Hypervelocity Projectile, Guided Projectiles, Fire Control, and Conventional Weapon Systems.
  • Provide system design, architecture, requirements definition, change proposals, planning support, emerging technology transition support, mentoring, problem solving, and engineering leadership to support Gun and Electric Weapon technologies.
  • Support rapid prototyping programs and experimentation with next generation applications with the ultimate goal of delivery of enhanced weapon systems to the warfighter.
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements

Must have a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering,
scientific, or technical discipline.
  • Six (6) years professional technical experience which includes
    at least four (4) years specialized experience performing systems engineering.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
