Job Description:
Argo is seeking a System Administrator (SA) to join a specialized Infrastructure Services/CSD-NTOC team. This role requires expertise in Linux (OpenShift) and Kubernetes, and candidates must hold an active Full Scope Polygraph clearance to be considered. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing and troubleshooting IT systems, including both UNIX and Windows operating systems. This position provides support for system configuration, day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and resolve complex issues related to server hardware, applications, and software integration.
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot UNIX (OpenShift) and Windows operating systems, ensuring integrity and enhancing performance.
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support for problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
Support IT systems infrastructure, including client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
Monitor IT systems, troubleshoot issues, and communicate escalation statuses to agency management and internal customers.
Optimize system operations, perform system capacity analysis, and ensure efficient resource utilization.
Provide in-depth troubleshooting support for IT systems and assist in escalating issues to the appropriate teams.
Support the dispatch system and handle hardware-related problems until resolution.
Assist users in accessing and using IT systems effectively.
Work with teams to design mission-critical systems and understand system administration interdependencies as part of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Qualifications:
Clearance: Active Full Scope Polygraph clearance required.
Experience: A minimum of 15 years of experience as a System Administrator (SA) on programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Alternatively, 5 additional years of SA experience may be substituted for the degree.
Expertise in Linux (OpenShift) and Kubernetes.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide detailed analysis and troubleshooting support.
