The Enterprise Engineering/Technical Lead
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee a portfolio of IT projects in a large, complex IT enterprise for a DoD customer (USSOUTHCOM).
- Providing technical direction to project leads for numerous concurrent IT projects, ensuring designs and implementation support customer goals of interoperability and defensibility.
- The Lead also tracks significant measures of user experience and satisfaction and recommends improvements to the government and participates in Change Management activities.
- Projects may include network or other system modernization, Zero Trust Architecture, cloud initiatives, advanced defensive cybersecurity operations, or other topics to manage and modernize a complex IT enterprise to meet demanding operational requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering. computer science, information technology management, or a related technical field.
- Ten (10+) or more years of experience with enterprise engineering efforts in a complex enterprise IT environment, analyzing performance, and designing and integrating effective solutions. Experience must include at least 3 years in the last 5 years in a DoD enterprise IT environment including classified networks and systems.
- Six (6+) or more years of experience with virtual desktop enterprise and cloud environments.
- Three (3+) or more years of experience designing and implementing solutions in accordance with DoD information assurance and cybersecurity policy.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
- A Master's Degree in an engineering or technical field is desired.
- Certifications indicating professional expertise in networks, cloud systems, or software development including but not limited to CCIE, Cisco multi-cloud certifications, GCP, AWS CSP, ITIL Expert (v3 or v4), Azure Solutions Architect/Enterprise Administrator/DevOps Engineer Expert, or similar, is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/ active Top-Secretclearance with SCI eligibility.
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
