Description

Markon is looking for a Program Control and Compliance Manager to support one of our Intelligence Community customers.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as part of the Audit Program Team.
  • Provide audit readiness and validation support associated with client's real property responsibilities linked with Acquire to Retire (A2R)/Property, Plant and Equipment (PP&E) audit readiness program.
  • Coordinate with audit program lead, audit team members, and senior client leadership to ensure internal controls, standard operating procedures, and documentation related to real property business processes is adequate to move the organization toward audit readiness and for the organization to obtain an unqualified audit opinion.
  • Develop financial processes, policies and plans via efficient and audit compliant methods. Drive audit compliance across client divisions.
  • Attend audit meetings and provide expert support and recommendations to client internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide Real Property Audit Readiness activities status reports to client leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Develop Corrective Actions Plans (CAPS) and regularly report statuses.
  • Respond to auditor Provided by Client (PBC) requests for documents and reports.
  • Enforce the development and execution of standardized business processes in alignment with Real Property Process Cycle Memo (PCM). Drive consistency in execution of controls across the client organization.
  • Advise client leadership on accounting and DoD polices regarding Real Property Reporting responsibilities.
  • Develop processes, tools and conduct real property inventory to support existence of recorded property.


Qualifications

  • TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience. A Bachelor's degree may be substituted with an additional 5 years of experience, providing the necessary foundational skills to execute this position.
  • Program management experience
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and time management skills

Desired Experience:
  • Real property accounting standards
  • Data analysis, requirements gathering, reporting and monitoring
  • Process improvement knowledge/expertise
  • Visio, MS Office especially strong skills in Excel


Salary Range

USD $110,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
