Position Title: U.S. Space Force Construction Security Escort Specialist

The Cape Cod Space Force Station (CCSFS) located in Bourne, Massachusetts requires unarmed security specialists to provide industrial security escort services for temporary contractors performing construction at designated facilities. This position is initially for a six-month effort from 12/2/2024 through 6/2/2025. There may be an opportunity for follow-on projects.

Security Clearance Level: Secret

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitors work of escorted personnel to ensure compliance of safety and security requirements.
  • Reports non-compliance regarding safety, security, and scope of work to the Construction Project Manager and the Corporate Program Manager.
  • Ensures the physical security of buildings and property.
  • Immediately stops any unsafe and/or unsecure work to prevent injuries and security incidents.
  • Ensures metal detection screening of all personnel entering and exiting secure areas at construction site(s) to prevent infiltration/exfiltration of unauthorized data bearing devices and electronics.
  • Patrols assigned areas and reports suspicious activity, property damage, malfunctioning equipment, SOP non-compliance, and other violations of U.S. Government standards, guidance and policies.
  • Completes patrol checklists and logs.
  • Collects and submits the Shift Activity Reports (SAR) at the end of the shift.
  • Provides First Aid/CPR/AED as required.
  • Performs other related duties as directed by the Corporate Program Manager.

Knowledge and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • US Citizenship.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills. Able to read, understand and interpret documents for compliance.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience providing quality customer service to Government employees, military personnel, contractors, and/or visitors.
  • Prior military experience is desired.
  • Active and Current Secret Clearance
