Specialist
Position Requirement:
• MUST BE A US CITIZEN

EXPERIENCE AS A DATA MANAGER WITH
PERFORMING THIS ROLE AT THE NATIONAL
GEOSPATIAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY REQUIRED
Locations: VA and St. Louis MO areas
Job Type: Full-Time Employee
Overview:
Successful candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a
Geospatial Visualization Specialist at the NGA or another intelligence agency and an
indepth understanding of GEOINT integration work to include collection, exploitation,
analysis, and product delivery capabilities.
Duties:
• Provide the FG NOX (SFP) with geospatial visualization support. The geospatial
visualization specialist assists in business intelligence to convey complicated
realities to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Assist SFP Leadership in capture and tracking of business intelligence/business
analytics.
• Work closely with the various communications teams, platforms, and venues to
help promote Foundation GEOINT (FG) information in reports, briefs, and
commentary to visualize data and provide business intelligence to Senior
Leadership, Production Staff and Customers
• Utilize the Requirements Database for development of visualized

, reports, briefs, and commentary.
• Create visualizations, including but not limited to interactive dashboards, charts,
graphs, maps, and animations to aid in understanding of SFP data.
• Use internal SFP data sources, identify, and interpret non-SFP data sources,
merge and ensure consistency of disparate data sources, and perform
quantitative and qualitative analysis to generate compelling visuals for
audiences ranging from technical experts to senior leadership.
• Provide visual, technical, and editorial guidance to leadership and subject matter
experts.
• Train users on how to use visualization tools and systems.
• Support implementation of visualization systems.
• Ensure compliance with all federal regulations or NGA Instructions regarding
interactions with websites/portals/etc. (e.g. ADA compliance).
• Collaborate with staff to ensure SFP's systems are compatible and operable with
other systems across the Enterprise.
• Participation in strategic development activities in accordance with stated
NGA, Source (S), Foundation GEOINT Group (SF), and FG NOX (SFP) goals
and objectives.
Required Skills and Experience:
• 3 years' experience with business intelligence/business analytics development
and process improvement.
• 3 years' experience knowledge of ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcPro.
• Demonstrated ability to use SharePoint, Tableau, Redmine, and/or
other systems/ to manipulate and build data visualizations.
• 3 years of experience with common data science libraries and frameworks, plus:
o PostgreSQL, Postgis, PgAdmin
o Application programming interfaces (APls)
• User Experience (UX) Courses.
• UX Certification
