Senior Data Scientist
Position Requirement:
• MUST BE A US CITIZEN
• ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE REQUIRED
• MUST HAVE 9 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS A DATA SCIENTIST WITH
PERFORMING THIS ROLE AT THE NATIONAL GEOSPATIAL INTELLIGENCE
AGENCY REQUIRED
Locations: VA and St. Louis MO areas

Overview:
Successful candidates will demonstrate experience in performing extensive and in-
depth data investigations on complex problems using applied statistics, building
algorithms, and collaborating with domain expertise to convey complicated realities
to non-technical audiences.
Duties:
Provide the FG NOX (SFP) with data science management and automation
support. Any data management solutions created by the contractor should take
into consideration any SFP modernization objectives including the modernized
database applications as well as other enterprise activities (e.g., Foundation
Digital Twin).
• Provide embedded GEOINT/ Data Science expertise to assure continuity
of data provision to the NSG.
• Deliver service solutions that integrate best practices to modernize
current practices.
• Perform data investigations on complex problems using applied
statistics, building algorithms and collaborating with domain expertise

, to convey complicated realities to non-technical audience.
• Provide data visualization of disparate sources via dashboards that can
be understood by nontechnical audiences.
• Assist in the development of a modernized data management
workflow for all SFP programs through research and understanding of
current SFP data management practices.
• Coordinate utilization and sustainment of the new database
management processes and workflows with database developers
and analysts.
• Ensure new workflows have ability to be integrated seamlessly with
our modernized database applications and enterprise-level APls.
• Assist in other data management tasks related to SFP's modernization
activities:
• Data modeling and simulation of production and change detection
data of in-house created data.
• Data visualization of production metrics of in-house created data.
• Statistical analysis of in-house data created.
• Scripting and coding to include converting Visual/Basic Maplnfo scripts
to Python.
• Implementing enterprise database management processes.
• Automating repetitive data management tasks.
• Participation in strategic development activities in accordance with
stated NGA, Source (S), Foundation GEOINT Group (SF), and FG NOX
(SFP) goals and objectives
Required Skills and Experience:
• 9 years’ experience with workflow management systems, such as Flowable
or ESRI WMS.
• Working knowledge and in-depth understanding of the Customer
Requirements process.
• A combination of 9 years of demonstrated experience in any
six or more of the following tools/methodologies:
o Maplnfo, MapBasic
o Python
o ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcPro
o Quantum GIS (QGIS)
o PostgreSQL, Postgis, PgAdmin
o Application programming interfaces (APls)
o Using applied statistics & Building algorithms
