JOB TITLE: Systems Engineer (Microsoft Management)
GOVERNMENT AGENCY: DOJ NSD – National Security Division
POSITION INFORMATION: Full-Time Position; Government contractor supporting DOJ NSD
LOCATION: Washington, DC (onsite)
POSITION TIMING: ASAP; hiring immediately

The mission of the National Security Division (NSD) is to carry out the Department's highest priority: to combat terrorism and other threats to national security. The Infrastructure Support and Software Development Services division provides all IT services necessary to support the NSD's Infrastructure & Operations as well as Software Development, Engineering, and Service Desk.
Responsibilities:
- Supports all system operations inclusive of hardware, operating system (OS), and utilities on all servers and computer systems.
- Provides expertise in multiple operating systems and is responsible for configuration, patch management, troubleshooting, all versions and sub-version upgrades, and all aspects of the availability of servers and systems.
- Works with Vendors of COTS / GOTS applications to ensure proper functionality.
- Acts as Tier 2 response in operations environment where resolution cannot be handled by on-site Tier 1 staff.
- Provisions, Administers, Monitors, and Maintains Platform Service.
- Utilizes an accomplished knowledge of multiple technical disciplines, unique applications, and business management practices to develop technical and/or business solutions to client problems.
- Assists clients in planning and developing objectives and goals.
- Supports client objectives while conforming to the client’s operating practices.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Microsoft Systems Engineering/Administration experience
- Active Directory/Domain Controller experience
- Endpoint Management experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; can be substituted with an additional 2+ years related experience.
- Infrastructure Certifications, plus
- Active Top Secret, required.
