Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the structural integrity of commercial building projects throughout Florida. This role requires strong expertise in structural analysis, building codes, and project management, with a focus on delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design and analyze structural systems for commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with Florida building codes and industry standards.
Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and reports.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering teams to ensure project success.
Perform site inspections and evaluations of existing structures to assess condition and recommend repairs or modifications.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Florida.
Proficiency in structural analysis software and AutoCAD/Revit.
Strong knowledge of Florida building codes, standards, and regulations.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
