RF/Microwave Engineer

- Design and develop innovative RF components and systems.
- Components and systems include lumped, planar, cavity, and dielectric resonator technologies.
- Design of advanced pseudo-elliptic microwave filters (both single- and multimode), diplexers, and multiplexers.
- Design of switched filter banks, including simple amplifier configurations and PCB layout for RF and DC boards.
- Utilize Ansoft HFSS, Ansoft Designer, Genesys, and other custom software.
- Perform engineering work of various types in the design or redesign, manufacture, installation, operation, or maintenance of microwave filters, systems or equipment.
- Write filter synthesis programs and test and automation software.
- Assist lab technicians by simulating test results and recommending circuit modifications.
- Prepare acceptance and qualification test procedures for use by lab technicians and other engineers.
- Participate in internal company seminars and design reviews.
- BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience focused on filter, diplexer, and multiplexers design is required.
- Understanding of driving and biasing circuits and basic logic networks such as the ones required for the control of a switch.
- Experience with Ansoft HFSS, or Ansoft Designer, or Genesys software a plus
