The Electrical Engineer for the Kigali, Rwanda Energy Project is responsible for providing technical oversight, quality assurance, and construction management support.
Key duties include performing inspections of electrical work, reviewing project drawings and specifications, ensuring contractor compliance with design documents, and monitoring the contractor’s quality control and safety programs. The engineer must assess whether construction elements are properly installed, materials meet contract requirements, and any issues are resolved. Additionally, the role involves reviewing contractor submittals, monitoring project progress, and preparing weekly reports with recommendations. Expertise in high and low voltage equipment, as well as solar power, is preferred
Requirements:
BS Degree in Electrical Engineering
Secret Clearance or Top Secret Clearance
Construction and Solar Power expertise is preferred
7+ years Electrical Engineering experience
