Position: Sr Security Management Advisor
Location: Qatar
Clearance: TS/SCI
Job Description
Mission Essential is seeking a Sr Security Management Advisor to support multidisciplined intelligence operations to all Major Commands and Combatant Commands of all military branches. The Sr Security Analyst will assist and provide advice on all aspects of security support, working in coordination with an integrated military staff. Other duties include:
• Develop and assist in the development of policies and SOPs, IAW applicable policies and regulations, such as DoD, ICD, USFOR-G, and FRAGOs for administration of the agency/organization security program.
• Liaise with US, NATO, and industrial personnel.
• Coordinate with internal/external offices and agencies/organizations and establish and maintain a POC list of professional contacts throughout CJOA, CONUS, and OCONUS Ad Hoc/anticipated deliverables.
• Conduct Security Education and Training Awareness (SETA) for agency/organization personnel.
• Prepare Special Security Representative (SSR)/Contract Special Security
Representative (CSSR) and Collateral Security Manager (SM) training IAW applicable policies and regulations.
• Conduct training to include SCI and Collateral Security Accreditation/Re-Accreditation/De-accreditation, Response to A Security Incident, and Handling of Classified Materials.
• Prepare annual/semi-annual refresher training IAW applicable policies and regulations, using varying methods (e.g. Power Point, Computer Based Training, and in-person presentation, etc.) and master log of security course offerings.
• Develop a quarterly training schedule, conduct training sessions, and maintain attendance records, to include attendee name, date, assigned agency/unit, and course title.
• Troubleshoot routine personnel security, physical security, and information security issues that impact personnel, facilities, or networks throughout USFOR-G, to include Special Operations Command (SOCOM) elements, and elevate complex issues to the responsible SSO.
• Conduct personnel security, physical security, and information security related tasks for Collateral/SCI facilities when required by the TSSO and coordinated with the COR.
• Assist with development and maintenance of continuity documentation.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience applying security standards that apply to SCI Facilities (SCIFs) as outlined in ICD 705, Intelligence Community Standard (ICS) 705-1, IC Tech Spec-for ICD/ICS 705, and DoD Manual 5105.21 Volume 1-3
• Experience developing and interpreting security policy for Senior Level Government and Industry personnel
• 4+ years of experience utilizing Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and Joint Clearance and Access Verification System (JCAVS)
• Clearance - TS/SCI
• Developed in-depth Collateral/SCI Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs)
• Thorough familiarity with all security clearance processes
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints/drawings to ensure facilities meet security requirements
• Experience evaluating and processing approvals/accreditations for Tactical SCIFs (T-SCIF), Secure working Areas (SWA), and Temporary Secure Working Areas (TSWA) in a nontraditional environment to perform critical contingency tasks
Desired Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or master's degree
• Deployment and operational experience OCONUS and preferred Security Fundamentals Professional Certification
• Completed Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 Physical Security course (or equivalent)
• Completed Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) SSO course (or equivalent)
