Systems Engineer

Riptronix is looking for a customer-focused team player working on-site in a mission-oriented
environment. The candidate must be a self-starter, possess good communication skills, and be
willing to interface with multiple teams throughout the design process.

We are currently seeking Information Assurance Systems Engineers with emphasis on
requirements generation, allocation, and tracking throughout the development cycle to ensure
support for NSA security certification. The systems engineer will work closely with software and
hardware engineers to develop technical documentation, product capability presentations, system
architecture and system design documentation.

Qualifications:
 Must possess an active TS/SCI Clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph
 Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering security certification
documentation such as SED, SHDD, SDPDD, SHRS, Initial Capabilities Documents,
Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents
 Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and
allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel
components
 Coordinate the resolution of action items from meetings, design reviews, program
reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination
 Participate in interface definition, design, and changes to the configuration between
affected groups and individuals throughout the life-cycle
 Generate alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutions
 Define the methods, processes, and evaluation criteria by which the systems, subsystems
and work products are verified against their requirements in a written plan
 Develop system design solution that satisfies the system requirements and fulfills the
functional analysis
 Develop system design alternatives
Other Highly Desirable Experience:
 Development of at least one (1) NSA TYPE 1 security product using NSA IA security
practices (Mid)
 Development of at least two (2) NSA TYPE 1 security product using NSA IA security
practices (Senior)

Education/Experience:

Mid-Career: Four (4) years of IA system development experience and an Engineering or
Computer Science Bachelor’s degree. An additional four (4) years of experience may be
substituted for the education requirement.

Senior: Ten (10) years of IA system development experience and an Engineering or Computer
Science Bachelor’s degree. An additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for the
education requirement.
