Job Summary:
The Security Architect with a Tenable focus will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing comprehensive security architectures that leverage Tenable products, including Tenable.io, Tenable.sc, and Tenable.ot. This role will involve crafting strategic security frameworks, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices, and guiding the development of robust security solutions tailored to our organization's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Design: Develop and maintain security architecture frameworks that incorporate Tenable solutions to address organizational risk, compliance, and security objectives.
Solution Integration: Design and oversee the integration of Tenable's products into existing security infrastructures, ensuring seamless operation and maximizing the effectiveness of vulnerability management and threat detection.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to define security requirements, develop long-term security strategies, and align Tenable solutions with overall business goals.
Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks related to vulnerabilities and threats by leveraging Tenable's tools for proactive and reactive security measures.
Policy and Standards: Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices for the implementation and use of Tenable products.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to security teams and other departments on the effective use of Tenable solutions and the development of security architecture.
Optimization and Innovation: Continuously evaluate and enhance security architectures and Tenable deployments to address emerging threats, improve performance, and adapt to evolving business needs.
Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of security architectures, designs, configurations, and incident responses. Generate and present reports to stakeholders on security posture and architecture effectiveness.
Training and Awareness: Lead training sessions and workshops to enhance the understanding of Tenable products and security architecture principles across the organization.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Tenable Certified Expert) are preferred.
Experience: 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on security architecture and a strong background in Tenable products.
Technical Skills:
Deep expertise with Tenable.io, Tenable.sc, and Tenable.ot.
Extensive experience in designing and implementing security architectures.
Proficiency in risk assessment, threat modeling, and security best practices.
Strong knowledge of network security, system security, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, GDPR).
Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex security issues and design effective solutions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Leadership: Proven leadership abilities, with experience in guiding teams and projects, and a track record of successful security architecture implementations.
