The Opportunity:

CACI has need to add an experienced Audio Video (A/V) engineer to its technical team in Albuquerque, NM. This position requires travel in the continental United States for various projects. The candidate should be experienced performing the following tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Defines requirements ,designs and develops new audio/video distribution systems
  • A ssesses current architectures for HW/SW limitations and designs complex computer system specifications supporting A/V system compatibility specifically for Crestron, Extron, Barco, Jupiter, Biamp etc.
  • Identifies telecommunications, audio, video system hardware and software technical performance requirements/standards for current and proposed systems
  • Analyzes and resolves compatibility design deficiencies.
  • P erforms design and integration activities for A/V systems
  • Conducts independent technical investigations of A/V solutions
  • Leads others but no supervisory responsibilities.
  • Experience in training staff in system repairs, operations, procedures and troubleshooting
  • core understanding of determining root cause of malfunctions and correcting them
  • Proven ability to read schematics and work plans
  • Work in a team environment, Quality Team Member
  • Experience in writing customer system specific installation and operator maintenance manuals which include detailed drawings, test plans and procedures
  • Coordinate the procurement of electrical components from commercial and DOD vendors to meet requirements
  • Collaborates with engineering staff


Qualifications:

Required:
  • BS/MS in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or equivalent experience (3-5 years A/V system design and implementation)
  • Certified Crestron Programmer
  • 3-5 years A/V system design and implementation experience


Desired:
  • MS in computer science, computer engineering or information systems
  • 1 0 Years A/V system design and implementation experience
  • Military communications experience in a tactical environment
  • Active TS/SCI

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$59,700 - $122,200
