Database Services - System Engineer - Level 2

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the design and development of voice, video, radio frequency, and/or data communications networks.
• Responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and administering databases, including security, access, and documentation.
• Designs, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates, installs, and administers database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management.
• Designs and implements databases with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, ETL tasks, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods.
• May provide technical consulting in the definition, design, and creation of a database environment.
• Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problem.

REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE

TS/SCI CLEARANCE WITH POLY REQUIRED

Education:

HS/GED and 19 years of experience

Bachelors and 14 years of experience

IAT Level 2

Certification:

CompTIA Security+ CE

Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)
