TS/SCI FS Poly cleared Principal Data Scientist

Our client, a leading government systems integrator located in Mclean, VA, is in need of a TS/SCI Full Scope Poly cleared Principal Data Scientist for a 12 month contract. The Data Scientist will work onsite daily, supporting federal law enforcement machine learning initiatives by utilizing Python and machine learning to analyze, validate, fine-tune, and test various data models.

Required skills:

• Active DoD TS/SCI with full scope polygraph
• 5+ years experience working as a Data Scientist
• 5+ years hands-on Python experience
• Hands-on experience with machine learning ops and familiarity with both supervised and unsupervised machine learning (around time series and event-based constructs)
• Experience in pattern matching
• Knowledge of Databricks, LLM/NLP, and model tuning

Preferred Skills:

• Local to Mclean, VA
• Knowledge of containerization using docker and Kubernetes
• College degree
• Experience working in a SCIF
