About the Role:
- As a Senior Web Developer, you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining a sophisticated web application designed to analyze, extract, and visualize critical information from complex data streams.
- Your expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies will be crucial in delivering a seamless user experience that meets the demands of mission-critical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a dynamic web application that processes and visualizes real-time data feeds.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement new features that enhance the application’s functionality and user experience.
- Optimize the performance and scalability of the application to handle large volumes of data.
- Ensure the application meets the highest standards of security, reliability, and usability.
Core Competencies:
- Strong experience with .NET and C# for backend development.
- Proficiency in front-end development using Vue3 and Typescript.
- Expertise in Python for data processing and analysis, including experience with Jupyter Notebook.
- Knowledge of Scala and Databricks for large-scale data processing and analytics.
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with data visualization techniques and tools.
- Experience in developing applications for mission-critical environments.
Work Environment:
- The role is primarily onsite (60%) in Huntsville, Alabama or Chantilly, VA, with the remainder being telework.
- Our team is distributed between the Washington, DC metropolitan area and Huntsville.
