Mid-Level or Senior Engineer – Program Manager Support
International Systems Management Corp. (ISM) is seeking qualified candidates for a Mid-Level or Senior
Engineer, providing PEO IWS 1.0 engineering analysis and management support to the US Navy. The selected
individual will support PEO IWS 1.0 on AEGIS Development and Integration projects associated with AEGIS
Computer Program Baseline configurations of the AEGIS Combat System.
Education / Professional Work Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM degree program
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience with preferably 8+ years of professional experience in an
engineering, systems management, or project / program management role
• Experience using systems engineering practices to design, manage, test, evaluate, and support technical
projects
Required experience includes:
• Manage “team of teams” responsible for Baseline / Computer Program development efforts across multiple
software versions for delivery to the US Navy
• Coordinate across US Government, Contractor / Industry, and Educational stakeholders for requirements
necessary to deliver warfighting capability to the US Navy
• Develop executive level presentations and author executive level communication for keeping internal
Program Office and external leadership and stakeholders informed
• Advise on contract strategy, technical and financial management, and process improvements across all
AEGIS computer program software development
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products including SharePoint and Teams
• Experience working in a project oriented and collaborative environment
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence or other similar digital collaboration and program / project
management tools
• Possess strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Desired experience includes:
• Experience with Navy Combat Systems, Weapons, and Engineering Program execution
• Experience supporting US Government, US Navy, or other senior level / executive leadership
• Experience with software development and testing in an agile environment
• Experience with financial, stakeholder, risk, and other program management pillars in a US Government or
private industry organization
The ideal candidate is dynamic and proactive in meeting customer needs and has the ability to prioritize tasks and
coordinate activities across numerous organizations. The position will be located in Washington, DC and will
require travel approximately less than 10% of the time. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and
maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
