Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering,
or other related discipline; OR Technical School Certificate related to computer systems OR the equivalent technical training with experience that aligns directly to the duties to be performed in lieu of degree for specific user units.
Experience: Site Lead Specific:
In-depth knowledge of the Unified Command structure, joint doctrine, and joint policies.
Detailed working knowledge of processes and procedures for using automated tools to plan, support, and execute Special Operations roles for mission planning.
Ability to develop processes and techniques which enhance the mission planning environment and reduces the workload for other mission planning support Contractors.
Experience: Tactical Support Engineer – Senior: Minimum of 7 years operational experience with or supporting an organization’s: navigation and mission planning techniques including preparation and check out of flight plans for aircraft weapons systems OR
mission planning computer systems, communications, mission equipment, and planning techniques including preparation of unit mission plans for conduct of peacetime and wartime special operations missions.
In addition, specific experience in the following areas/programs depending on the assigned component:
- DoD 8570 IAT Level 2, or higher certification (IE: Security +)
Other, customer- specific planning & execution software applications
