Security Forces Armorer Support.
Subtasks. The Contractor shall:
-Advise on the accountability, protection, issue, and receive all firearms, communications
equipment, and related assets.
-Account for, issue, and provide annual forecast for munitions needed for operations.
-Advise on management of armorers and assist in the establishment of Standard Operating
Procedures (SOP) and daily task coordination for the armory.
-Plan, schedule, and conduct all armory training. Responsible for documentation of
qualifications upon completion.
-Be knowledgeable of Air Force weapons maintenance and parts processes and shall be
able to conduct maintenance on weapons.
-Act as armory equipment primary or alternate equipment custodian.
Be responsible for cleaning of all unassigned weapons.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
-Must have three (3) years of experience managing a DoD Armory.
-Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
-Must possess a valid state and be able to obtain a government issued Driver’s License.
-Training and experience with USAF Equipment Management Process is desired.
- A USAF 7 level skill identification in Combat Arms is desired.
-Experience with USAF munitions forecasting is desired.
