Functional Responsibilities:
The SE4 shall possess an active and transferable U.S. TOP-SECRET (with SSBI). The SE4 shall provide technical leadership in the planning, investigation, design, and implementation of physical and virtualized infrastructure systems. The Senior Systems Engineer shall design and engineer virtual infrastructure leveraging various Hypervisors, and VDI technologies to include Hyper-V, XenServer, ESXi, and VMWare. The SE4 shall design, build, maintain, and support a variety of workstation and server images to include both Windows and Linux operating systems. The SE4 shall design, build, maintain, and support automated system patching and software deployment. The SE4 shall develop detailed network design diagrams and documentation.
Minimum General Experience:
The SE4 shall have eight (8) years of experience in designing and engineering virtual infrastructure; building and supporting desktop systems using Windows operating systems; and designing workstation and server infrastructures for high latency, low bandwidth networks using satellite or cellular broadband technologies.
Preferred Experience:
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert or equivalent level of certification is desired.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college; or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related scientific/technical field. Additional education, training, certifications, or work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree or work experience at the Customer's discretion.
