Computer Technologies Consultants (CTC) is seeking a Data Center Engineer (Infrastructure/Cloud) to provide infrastructure engineering for data center, compute, storage, network, Unified Communications, and remote site servers on a US Navy contract in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Position Title : Data Center Engineer (Infrastructure/Cloud)
Position Location : This position is onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Daily Responsibilities :
•Design, deliver, and optimize Virtual Infrastructure Services to improve security, availability, performance, and resource utilization.
•Review current virtual infrastructures, architectures, designs, and operations to identify potential improvements.
•Analyze, refine, and document the requirements for transition from legacy architectures into modern virtualized infrastructure environment.
•Design virtual Infrastructure services to maximize available capacity of physical compute, storage, and network hardware resources.
•Document security, configuration, and performance benchmarks of Virtual Infrastructure Services
Qualifications :
•Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 5-7yrs of experience, or a Master's with 3-5 yrs of experience, or a PhD with 0-2 years of experience
•Experience in Infrastructure/Datacenter engineering for both physical and virtual infrastructure hosting one or more Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Solaris, UNIX, and/or AIX systems
•One or more engineering disciplines:
•Storage Engineering: multiple enterprise HPE Storage Area Networks (SAN)
•Network Engineering: Cisco network LAN/WAN, Software Defined Networking (SDN)
•Infrastructure/Cloud Engineering: VMware vCloud Enterprise Suite; hybrid cloud with multiple classified Government clouds.
•Must have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security+ CE)
•Professional-level Linux, VMware, Network, Storage, or Cloud certifications desired
•ITIL Foundations certification desired
Required Clearance :
•Must possess an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $100k - $120k+
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
