Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst to join our team in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) operations in Port Hueneme, CA.
As a Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of backend applications and relational databases such as MSSQL, Azure SQL Database, and Azure SQL Managed Instances. You will ensure the optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of database systems, while ensuring compliance with Navy cybersecurity requirements. This role also involves the creation and management of reports, dashboards, and other business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, deploy, and maintain backend applications and relational databases (e.g., MSSQL, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instances) to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Design and implement business intelligence systems to support operational needs, including reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations.
- Establish and maintain database backup and recovery processes.
- Ensure compliance with Navy cybersecurity requirements, including support for cloud-based server, platform, and database infrastructure.
- Gather, analyze, design, develop, and test reports and dashboards in alignment with stakeholder specifications.
- Work with Power Query, DAX, SQL, and other tools to create advanced reports, custom visualizations, queries, and interactive connections.
- Monitor cloud computing environments to ensure operational availability, security, and full compliance with Navy cybersecurity guidelines.
- Maintain and secure database server environments in compliance with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs).
- Conduct system integrations and ensure full support for business intelligence solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience in the development and deployment of distributed relational databases and associated business intelligence systems.
- Five years of experience with the Microsoft SQL Server stack, including MSSQL, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Five years of experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
- Proven experience securing a SQL environment in accordance with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs).
- Strong skills in SQL Server configuration management, optimization, administration, development in client/server architecture, business object modeling, and relational database design using MS SQL Server.
- Current U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Understanding of Navy Working Capital Fund (WCF) accounting principles and the generation of reports and OLAP analysis based on WCF funding and cost data.
- Experience leading and designing Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)-based applications.
- Familiarity with Navy security requirements and their impact on software architecture and implementation.
Certifications:
- IAT Level 3 Certification or equivalent.
