We are actively hiring a Watch Administratorwith TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join our Alder Division working in Northern VA. The qualified candidate will provide support to a telephone and trouble ticket oriented "Service Desk" in support of a customer's mission-oriented IT infrastructure. The candidate will support the Network and Server Infrastructure, and initial troubleshooting on LAN & WAN voice and data telecommunications plus the supporting applications and services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are actively hiring a Watch Administratorwith TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join our Alder Division working in Northern VA. The qualified candidate will provide support to a telephone and trouble ticket oriented "Service Desk" in support of a customer's mission-oriented IT infrastructure. The candidate will support the Network and Server Infrastructure, and initial troubleshooting on LAN & WAN voice and data telecommunications plus the supporting applications and services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide tiered troubleshooting and problem solving using on-the-job experience, documentation (SOPs), knowledge bases, and deployed network and IT management tools.
- Serve as liaison between the end users / customers and Sr. technical staff if problems are escalated.
- In addition to service desk related work activities, the candidate may be requested to process routine customer work orders (adding routes, adding system accounts, etc.).
- Monitor system alerts using various proprietary applications on multiple networks.
- Identify and document alerts using the ticketing system and notification emails. Escalate issues to Tier 2/3 and provide troubleshooting assistance.
- Manage user accounts (account creation, permission modification, enabling/disabling, and password resets using Active Directory).
- TS/SCI with polygraph required
- This position is for a 12-hour shift (6AM to 6PM or 6PM to 6AM, 3/4 days per week, including weekends and holidays)
