INTRODUCTION:
The Sponsor is seeking support for a joint Department of Homeland Security initiative. This program is comprised of frontend, backend, and DevOps operations that includes development of new system capabilities; extension and maintenance of bulk data pipeline; and enhancements for the program's application hosted on multiple platforms including the Sponsor's cloud computing environment.
WORK REQUIREMENTS:
DevOps Support; HRR; Yes
The core hours for all positions not otherwise identified shall be 9:00AM - 3:00PM. Weekend or after-hours support may be required for operational issues, deployments and critical activities.
The Contractor shall provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
The Contractor shall troubleshoot complex problems.
The Contractor shall provide customer support for software systems and application issues.
The Contractor shall collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, analysts, project managers, and engineers.
The Contractor shall provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
1. Demonstrated experience with Amazon Cloud Services (AWS) solutions.
2. Demonstrated experience with Linux server administration and web application support.
3. Demonstrated experience creating documentation in source code and project management repositories such as Git, Jira, or Confluence.
4. Demonstrated experience using MySQL or other non-relational databases such as Elasticsearch.
5. Demonstrated experience with build automation technologies like Jenkins, Rundeck or similar.
1. Demonstrated experience supporting the technical processing of vetting support requests for analytical comparison against the Sponsor's holdings.
2. Demonstrated experience with computer processing platforms such as computers, mobile, I.O.T., and using that knowledge in a clustered computing environment.
3. Demonstrated experience designing new AWS architecture for a screening and vetting application.
4. Demonstrated experience creating Packer scripts to automate Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2) Amazon Machine Images (AMI) builds.
5. Demonstrated experience writing Bash script for the automated deployment of Elastic, RabbitMQ, MySQL, and Apache Tomcat.
6. Certification(s): Active CNCF Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification.
