Summary
You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team to improve technical security systems. Responsibilities include developing System Requirement Documents (SRDs), Statements of Work (SOW), System Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT), and interfacing with different technical performers o ensure products are delivered within budget and on-schedule. Individual must be familiar with program development, execution, and funding from Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) 1 through 9. You will be communicating designs and solutions to the entire technical program team and to end-customer stakeholders. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather technical requirements, architect solutions, and execute on deliverables.

You will work closely with stakeholders to gather technical requirements, architect solutions, and execute on deliverables.
Essential responsibilities and activities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with the analysis, evaluation, engineering, and implementation of system improvements, optimization, and deployments.
- Develop and implement technology and solution roadmaps to meet customer strategic goals and mission priorities.
- Develop and implement designs for large, complex multi-site data center infrastructure and virtualized environment solutions.
- Document designs, and changes to data center infrastructure environments including physical/logical drawings, engineering design plans, implementation plans, transition plans, test plans, and failover plans.
- Implement, test, and operate large complex data center and virtualized compute, storage, and network environments.
- Research, prototype, and develop emerging technologies by working closely with industry partners and OEMs to implement the latest and best-in-bread capabilities to meet the customers emerging needs.
Position / Candidate Requirements .
- Education: Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a Related Engineering Discipline.
- Bachelor's Degree and 7+ Years of progressive experience.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; ability to obtain an Active DoD TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance level is required
- Experience as a Research Lead, Task Lead, or Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for Government Programs.
- Ability to derive system requirements and develop new R&D proposals.
- Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills with the ability and experience communicating directly with executive leadership.
- Demonstrated experience with developing cost estimates and work breakdown structures for the design and implementation of complex projects.
- Demonstrated experience performing technical cross-training/coaching of junior colleagues
- Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
- Strong MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio Skills is a plus.
Desired / Advantageous Qualifications
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or STEM-related field
- Experience as a Program Manager (PM), Chief Engineer, Or Systems Engineer of Government programs.
- Experience in the Physical, Technical, and/or Information Security field
- Experience in Technical Surveillance and Countermeasures (TSCM)
