Our client, the PRIME is seeking a qualified Hardware Virtualization Engineer in support of client located at Hill AFB, Utah.
The primary responsibility of the Hardware Virtualization Engineer is the ability to evaluate resource utilization and capacity of physical hardware assets in order to resource plan for the cloud migration.
Required Skills:
- Redhat Enterprise Linux experience (journeyman-so able to install RHEL, configure networks in 7 and
8, patch and STIG boxes, create user accounts, load software, administer a box)
- Network mapping using tools such as BMC Discovery, Cisco Tetration or Solar Winds
- VMWare ESXi experience
Preferred knowledge of the below are helpful but not required.
- Weblogic
- Oracle Linux
- VMWare NSX-t
